You are in the heart of Greek mythology. Women wear flowing, draped, plain dresses, with an elegant style. These dresses have passed through centuries. They are still there but they are very, too, discreet...

Except…
Except in our family! All summer on our island of Sporades, we wear them to the beach, matching the swimsuit; in the evening with a pretty belt and thin sandals; in the city in the shade of a hat. Today, 3 generations in our family have adopted them. 

Idea…
Ideas, we have lots of them! The first one that imposed itself on us: bring back this dress while paying tribute to Greece and its traditions. We wanted to give meaning to this project by taking special care in the choice of materials, respect for people and the environment. A close collaboration with a family factory in Athens, faithful to the ancestral and artisanal know-how, allowed us to realize this project.

By the way...
Why Kala Matia? For sure, you know the famous Greek blue eye but maybe not its name: Kalo Mati. It protects from the effects and harms of the evil eye. This is the ambition of our brand: to make fashion lighter and softer... in the best conditions.
